New Zealand is now funding trains to travel from Auckland to Hamilton.
Almost around $92 million has been funded which will be approved for the train services, and will be launched some time next year. Transporter Minister Phil Twyford has announced the funding on Friday the 23rd and that more people will be using the trains to travel through the two cities.
The train will travel from Hamilton to Papakura, where people will have to change to Auckland public transport system.
The ultimate aim is to get the trains to get all the way from Papakura to Britomart's last stop.
